# Flight Tracker Expert vs Flight Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flight Tracker Expert at 79% against Flight Tracker's 29%. Flight Tracker Expert also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 40). Flight Tracker's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Tracker Expert sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flight Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Tracker Expert has 2.6K ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Flight Tracker Expert's written reviews are positive against 29% of Flight Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flight Tracker Expert ships an update every 4 weeks, Flight Tracker every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
