# FreeCell Solitaire Now vs FreeCell Versus

The clearest difference is rating: FreeCell Versus at 5.0 against FreeCell Solitaire Now's 4.5. FreeCell Versus also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). FreeCell Solitaire Now's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (74 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FreeCell Versus sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. FreeCell Solitaire Now asks for nothing beyond the download.

FreeCell Versus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FreeCell Solitaire Now has 74 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of FreeCell Solitaire Now's written reviews are positive against 67% of FreeCell Versus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
