# Deputy vs Amcom Tools

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Deputy at 59% against Amcom Tools's 0%. Deputy also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 5). Amcom Tools's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deputy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per month. Amcom Tools asks for nothing beyond the download.

Amcom Tools holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Deputy has 5.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Deputy's written reviews are positive against 0% of Amcom Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Deputy ships an update weekly, Amcom Tools every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
