# Freeskate vs Skater

The clearest difference is price: Skater at Free against Freeskate's $2.99. Skater also leads on review sentiment (96% vs 62%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months). Freeskate's advantage is chart position (#146 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Skater is free to download; Freeskate costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
