# Microsoft OneDrive vs Builterra Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Builterra Pro at none against Microsoft OneDrive's 11. Builterra Pro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Microsoft OneDrive's advantage is ratings volume (488K vs 1) and review sentiment (19% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft OneDrive sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Builterra Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Builterra Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft OneDrive has 488K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Microsoft OneDrive's written reviews are positive against 0% of Builterra Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Microsoft OneDrive ships an update every 11 days, Builterra Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
