# Microsoft OneDrive vs AppToCloud

The clearest difference is rating: Microsoft OneDrive at 4.7 against AppToCloud's 3.9. Microsoft OneDrive also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months). AppToCloud's advantage is review sentiment (48% vs 19%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft OneDrive sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and AppToCloud sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Microsoft OneDrive holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft OneDrive has 488K ratings behind it against 728, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Microsoft OneDrive's written reviews are positive against 48% of AppToCloud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Microsoft OneDrive ships an update every 11 days, AppToCloud every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
