# Alamo Drafthouse vs Patreon

The clearest difference is rating: Patreon at 4.9 against Alamo Drafthouse's 2.4. Patreon also leads on review sentiment (41% vs 10%) and ratings volume (581K vs 825). Alamo Drafthouse's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Patreon holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.4.
