# Кинопоиск vs EcoJet

The clearest difference is rating: Кинопоиск at 4.7 against EcoJet's 3.9. Кинопоиск also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (39K vs 7). EcoJet's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and review sentiment (42% vs 26%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Кинопоиск sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. EcoJet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Кинопоиск holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Кинопоиск has 39K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Кинопоиск's written reviews are positive against 42% of EcoJet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Кинопоиск ships an update weekly, EcoJet every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
