# Virtual Scoreboard vs Ultimate Scoreboard

The clearest difference is ads: Ultimate Scoreboard at none against Virtual Scoreboard's shown. Virtual Scoreboard's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 377) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). Both are free to download. Virtual Scoreboard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ultimate Scoreboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
