# Virtual Scoreboard vs Tracks.

The clearest difference is rating: Virtual Scoreboard at 4.7 against Tracks.'s 3.0. Virtual Scoreboard also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (23K vs 2). Tracks.'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Virtual Scoreboard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tracks. sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Virtual Scoreboard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Scoreboard has 23K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Virtual Scoreboard's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tracks.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Virtual Scoreboard ships an update every 11 days, Tracks. every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
