# Virtual Scoreboard vs EZ

The clearest difference is rating: Virtual Scoreboard at 4.7 against EZ's 3.0. Virtual Scoreboard also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (24K vs 1). EZ's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Virtual Scoreboard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and EZ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Virtual Scoreboard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Scoreboard has 24K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Virtual Scoreboard ships an update every 2 weeks, EZ every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
