# FahrPlaner vs KVB

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FahrPlaner at 81% against KVB's 21%. FahrPlaner also leads on rating (4.4 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (45 vs 4). KVB's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FahrPlaner holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FahrPlaner has 45 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of FahrPlaner's written reviews are positive against 21% of KVB's.

FahrPlaner ships an update every 4 months, KVB every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
