# FahrPlaner vs Harz

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FahrPlaner at 81% against Harz's 38%. FahrPlaner also leads on ratings volume (45 vs 2). Harz's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Harz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FahrPlaner has 45 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of FahrPlaner's written reviews are positive against 38% of Harz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FahrPlaner ships an update every 4 months, Harz every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
