# Hei vs Arenti

The clearest difference is rating: Hei at 5.0 against Arenti's 4.5. Hei also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Arenti's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hei sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Arenti sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hei holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arenti has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Hei's written reviews are positive against 76% of Arenti's.

Hei ships an update every 12 months, Arenti every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
