# Educreations Whiteboard vs EarthViewer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EarthViewer at none against Educreations Whiteboard's 2. EarthViewer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.5). Educreations Whiteboard's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (12K vs 107). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Educreations Whiteboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. EarthViewer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Educreations Whiteboard holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Educreations Whiteboard has 12K ratings behind it against 107, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Educreations Whiteboard's written reviews are positive against 83% of EarthViewer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
