# Educreations Whiteboard vs Read Live

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Educreations Whiteboard at 76% against Read Live's 29%. Educreations Whiteboard also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Read Live's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Educreations Whiteboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Read Live asks for nothing beyond the download.

Read Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Educreations Whiteboard has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Educreations Whiteboard's written reviews are positive against 29% of Read Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Educreations Whiteboard ships an update monthly, Read Live every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
