# Distance Tool vs EER Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: EER Pro at every 3 weeks against Distance Tool's every 2 months. Distance Tool's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Distance Tool sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and EER Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Distance Tool ships an update every 2 months, EER Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
