# ⋆Solitaire vs TalkDeck

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TalkDeck at 100% against ⋆Solitaire's 40%. TalkDeck also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). ⋆Solitaire's advantage is ratings volume (937K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ⋆Solitaire sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and TalkDeck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TalkDeck holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ⋆Solitaire has 937K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of ⋆Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 100% of TalkDeck's.

⋆Solitaire ships an update every 3 weeks, TalkDeck fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
