# Daily Notes vs AltFuelUS

The clearest difference is price: Daily Notes at Free against AltFuelUS's $0.99. Daily Notes also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (144 vs 1). AltFuelUS's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 84%). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Daily Notes is free to download; AltFuelUS costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Daily Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Notes has 144 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Daily Notes's written reviews are positive against 100% of AltFuelUS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Notes ships an update every 3 months, AltFuelUS every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
