# Daily Notes vs 每日记

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Daily Notes at none against 每日记's 3. Daily Notes also leads on ratings volume (143 vs 19). 每日记's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 每日记 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Daily Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Daily Notes against 4.6 for 每日记. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Notes has 143 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Daily Notes's written reviews are positive against 90% of 每日记's.

Daily Notes ships an update every 3 months, 每日记 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
