# Daily Notes vs Daily Planner

The clearest difference is ads: Daily Notes at none against Daily Planner's shown. Daily Planner's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Daily Notes ships an update every 3 months, Daily Planner weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
