# Djembe! vs Easy Xylophone

The clearest difference is rating: Djembe! at 4.7 against Easy Xylophone's 4.3. Djembe! also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). Easy Xylophone's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 46) and review sentiment (67% vs 52%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Djembe! sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Easy Xylophone sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Djembe! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Xylophone has 2K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Djembe!'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Easy Xylophone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Djembe! ships an update every 3 months, Easy Xylophone every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
