# ECHL vs Black and Gold Premier+

The clearest difference is update cadence: Black and Gold Premier+ at fortnightly against ECHL's every 4 months. Black and Gold Premier+ also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.6). ECHL's advantage is review sentiment (18% vs 0%) and ratings volume (94 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Black and Gold Premier+ holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ECHL has 94 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of ECHL's written reviews are positive against 0% of Black and Gold Premier+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
