# Lingualeo vs ELSA Speak

Lingualeo and ELSA Speak both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Lingualeo's written reviews are positive against 42% of ELSA Speak's. ELSA Speak's advantage is ratings volume (114K vs 772) and chart position (#97 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingualeo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and ELSA Speak sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Lingualeo against 4.7 for ELSA Speak.
