# LetterSchool vs Endless Spanish

LetterSchool and Endless Spanish both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 72% of Endless Spanish's written reviews are positive against 54% of LetterSchool's. Endless Spanish also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). LetterSchool's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 1.2K) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LetterSchool sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Endless Spanish sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for LetterSchool against 4.5 for Endless Spanish. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LetterSchool has 17K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of LetterSchool's written reviews are positive against 72% of Endless Spanish's.

LetterSchool ships an update every 2 months, Endless Spanish every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
