# RTVE Play vs Iberalia GO

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RTVE Play at none against Iberalia GO's 3. RTVE Play also leads on ratings volume (7.5K vs 1). Iberalia GO's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iberalia GO sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. RTVE Play asks for nothing beyond the download.

Iberalia GO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RTVE Play has 7.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of RTVE Play's written reviews are positive against 47% of Iberalia GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RTVE Play ships an update every 3 weeks, Iberalia GO monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
