# Repeat Timer vs WillRemind

The clearest difference is price: Repeat Timer at Free against WillRemind's $0.99. Repeat Timer also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (7.4K vs 3). WillRemind's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and in-app purchases (none vs 7). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Repeat Timer is free to download; WillRemind costs $0.99 up front. Repeat Timer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. WillRemind asks for nothing beyond the download.

Repeat Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Repeat Timer has 7.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Repeat Timer's written reviews are positive against 100% of WillRemind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Repeat Timer ships an update every 3 weeks, WillRemind every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
