# Fast Lists vs Task List To Do

The clearest difference is ads: Fast Lists at none against Task List To Do's shown. Fast Lists also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (91% vs 75%). Task List To Do's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fast Lists sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Task List To Do sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task List To Do holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fast Lists has 359 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Fast Lists's written reviews are positive against 75% of Task List To Do's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fast Lists ships an update every 3 weeks, Task List To Do every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
