# Fast Lists vs To Do List

The clearest difference is rating: Fast Lists at 4.7 against To Do List's 3.6. Fast Lists also leads on ratings volume (380 vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). To Do List's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fast Lists sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. To Do List asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fast Lists holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fast Lists has 380 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Fast Lists's written reviews are positive against 100% of To Do List's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fast Lists ships an update every 3 weeks, To Do List weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
