# notebooksbilliger.de vs Grover

The clearest difference is review sentiment: notebooksbilliger.de at 100% against Grover's 64%. notebooksbilliger.de also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Grover's advantage is ratings volume (878 vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Grover holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grover has 878 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of notebooksbilliger.de's written reviews are positive against 64% of Grover's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

notebooksbilliger.de ships an update every 3 weeks, Grover fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
