# Photo Dice vs Dice Roller

The clearest difference is ads: Photo Dice at none against Dice Roller's shown. Photo Dice also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). Dice Roller's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Photo Dice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dice Roller sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
