# Slideshow 3D Lite vs Fliptastic

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Slideshow 3D Lite at none against Fliptastic's 8. Slideshow 3D Lite also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Fliptastic's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 28%) and ratings volume (572 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fliptastic sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Slideshow 3D Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Slideshow 3D Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fliptastic has 572 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Slideshow 3D Lite's written reviews are positive against 58% of Fliptastic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Slideshow 3D Lite ships an update every 3 months, Fliptastic every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
