# Zombie Exodus vs FunFX

The clearest difference is ads: FunFX at none against Zombie Exodus's shown. FunFX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). Zombie Exodus's advantage is ratings volume (361 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zombie Exodus sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and FunFX sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FunFX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zombie Exodus has 361 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Zombie Exodus ships an update every 5 months, FunFX weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
