# Polka vs Bubble Link

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Polka at none against Bubble Link's 10. Polka also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 66%). Bubble Link's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (5.6K vs 39). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubble Link sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Polka asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bubble Link holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Link has 5.6K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Polka's written reviews are positive against 66% of Bubble Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Polka ships an update every 4 months, Bubble Link fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
