# Polka vs Color Dots!

Polka and Color Dots! both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Polka's written reviews are positive against 22% of Color Dots!'s. Polka also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Color Dots!'s advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 39) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Dots! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Polka asks for nothing beyond the download.

Polka holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Color Dots! has 3K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two.
