# Krispy Kreme ® vs Baskin

The clearest difference is monetization model: Baskin at free against Krispy Kreme ®'s free with in-app purchases. Krispy Kreme ®'s advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Krispy Kreme ® holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Krispy Kreme ® has 39K ratings behind it against 7.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 8% and 7% positive.

Krispy Kreme ® ships an update fortnightly, Baskin every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
