# Dialer vs On

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: On at none against Dialer's 1. On also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dialer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. On asks for nothing beyond the download.

On holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Dialer's written reviews are positive against 50% of On's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dialer ships an update every 5 months, On monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
