# Yapp vs Veolia Events

The clearest difference is rating: Veolia Events at 4.0 against Yapp's 3.6. Veolia Events also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Yapp's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Veolia Events holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yapp has 100 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yapp ships an update every 2 weeks, Veolia Events every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
