# Yapp vs CAMMP

The clearest difference is rating: CAMMP at 5.0 against Yapp's 3.6. Yapp's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (100 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CAMMP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yapp has 100 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yapp ships an update fortnightly, CAMMP every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
