# Yapp vs Eventleaf Guide

The clearest difference is rating: Eventleaf Guide at 4.2 against Yapp's 3.6. Yapp's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (100 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eventleaf Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yapp has 100 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Yapp's written reviews are positive against 50% of Eventleaf Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yapp ships an update every 2 weeks, Eventleaf Guide every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
