# Yapp vs Senior Dining Association

The clearest difference is rating: Senior Dining Association at 5.0 against Yapp's 3.6. Yapp's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Senior Dining Association holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yapp has 100 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yapp ships an update every 2 weeks, Senior Dining Association every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
