# Yapp vs ImproView

The clearest difference is update cadence: Yapp at fortnightly against ImproView's every 5 months. Yapp also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 2) and chart position (#195 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.6 for Yapp against 3.5 for ImproView. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yapp has 100 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Yapp's written reviews are positive against 50% of ImproView's.

Yapp ships an update fortnightly, ImproView every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
