# Draw Pad Pro vs Drawing ▫

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Drawing ▫ at 15K against Draw Pad Pro's 159. Drawing ▫ also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Draw Pad Pro's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 24%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draw Pad Pro sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Drawing ▫ sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Draw Pad Pro against 4.1 for Drawing ▫. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawing ▫ has 15K ratings behind it against 159, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 36% of Draw Pad Pro's written reviews are positive against 24% of Drawing ▫'s.

Draw Pad Pro ships an update every 2 months, Drawing ▫ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
