# eDispatches vs EREC

The clearest difference is rating: eDispatches at 4.4 against EREC's 3.6. eDispatches also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (449 vs 5). EREC's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (67% vs 50%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eDispatches holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eDispatches has 449 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of eDispatches's written reviews are positive against 67% of EREC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eDispatches ships an update monthly, EREC every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
