# QuitNow vs Quit Weed

QuitNow and Quit Weed both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Quit Weed's written reviews are positive against 62% of QuitNow's. QuitNow's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 2K) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuitNow sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Quit Weed sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quit Weed holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuitNow has 14K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of QuitNow's written reviews are positive against 82% of Quit Weed's.

QuitNow ships an update weekly, Quit Weed every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
