# RTÉ Player vs TVNow

The clearest difference is rating: RTÉ Player at 4.7 against TVNow's 3.0. RTÉ Player also leads on ratings volume (6.3K vs 2) and review sentiment (46% vs 29%). TVNow's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
