# Dri vs Maple Syrup Time

The clearest difference is rating: Maple Syrup Time at 4.5 against Dri's 3.6. Maple Syrup Time also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (203 vs 12). Dri's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (63% vs 33%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Maple Syrup Time sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year. Dri asks for nothing beyond the download.

Maple Syrup Time holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Maple Syrup Time has 203 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Dri's written reviews are positive against 33% of Maple Syrup Time's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dri ships an update every 13 months, Maple Syrup Time weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
