# Classic Miner vs Star Go!

The clearest difference is rating: Classic Miner at 4.4 against Star Go!'s 3.9. Classic Miner also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 28 months) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 7). Star Go!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (96% vs 68%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classic Miner sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Star Go! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Classic Miner holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classic Miner has 2.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Classic Miner's written reviews are positive against 96% of Star Go!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Classic Miner ships an update every 3 months, Star Go! every 28 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
