# goFLUENT vs Learnlight

The clearest difference is rating: goFLUENT at 4.8 against Learnlight's 3.7. goFLUENT also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

goFLUENT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: goFLUENT has 2.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of goFLUENT's written reviews are positive against 38% of Learnlight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

goFLUENT ships an update fortnightly, Learnlight every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
