# TypeWay vs AGC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AGC at 89% against TypeWay's 30%. AGC also leads on price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 27 months). TypeWay's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 7). On ads there is nothing between them.

AGC is free to download; TypeWay costs $0.99 up front. AGC sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. TypeWay asks for nothing beyond the download.

TypeWay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AGC has 57 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of TypeWay's written reviews are positive against 89% of AGC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TypeWay ships an update every 27 months, AGC every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
